This song features the only stringed instrument indigenous to Hawaii: the ‘ukeke (a two-stringed musical bow made of koa wood) accompanied with the Hawaiian nose flute (ohe hano ihu). In memory of Kimo's Kumu Hula and Hawaiian instrument builder, Lanakila Brandt.
